Plainsong Antiphons for Benedictus and Magnificat

The psalm antiphons from Mirfield were in four stave plainsong notation. This set of antiphons are in five stave modern notation and were designed as a companion to the Office Hymns of the English Hymnal. They were, I think I am right in saying, in use at Holy Trinity, Winchester when I worshipped there as an undergraduate in the 1980’s. The full version includes pointed versions of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis as well as seasonal and ferial antiphons. The large numbers refer to the hymns in the English Hymnal and a vertical and response is provided. In this booklet only the antiphons are produced at some point I will upload the pointed Magnificats and the antiphons for the Nunc Dimittis.

I’ve added a set of ferial Benedictus antiphons in four stave notation from the Wantage books.
